Privacy

instant.tw runs single-page utility tools in your browser. Most tools process your inputs locally. Files or text are sent to our servers only when a tool clearly says it uses an account, server conversion, signature request, API call, payment flow, or cloud history.
What we collect
- Analytics — aggregated page views and traffic sources, via standard web analytics.
- Advertising — Google AdSense and Ezoic serve ads on free pages. They may set cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out via your browser settings or the cookie consent banner.
- Account data — if you sign in or upgrade, Firebase stores your account identifier and we store your email, plan, subscription state, API key metadata, and saved-history metadata.
- Payments — Stripe processes paid subscriptions and billing portal access. We do not store full card numbers.
- Email delivery — Resend sends magic links, account notices, and signature-request emails.
- Signature requests — when you use request-signature tools, uploaded PDFs and signed PDFs are stored on our VPS so signers can access token-gated links and senders can download completed documents.
- Server tools and API — server-backed conversions and API requests may process uploaded files or request payloads long enough to complete the requested job, enforce rate limits, and record usage.
What we don't collect
- Inputs for browser-only tools — text, numbers, and files stay in your browser.
- Health, tracking, or symptom data entered into local trackers — stored only in your browser's localStorage unless a future cloud feature explicitly asks you to opt in.
- Plaintext API keys — API keys are shown once and stored only as hashes.
Retention
Account records remain while your account exists. Pro history is designed for limited retention. Signature-request documents remain available for account download until deleted by operations or a future self-service delete flow. Temporary server-conversion work files are removed after processing.
Your choices
You can use most tools without an account. Paid users can manage billing from the account page. Email privacy requests to the address below.
